Keeping it up

Well the first of the year did not really get Ken and I motivated to loose weight like it does to some people. I know that every January millions of people vow to exercise and to stop eating the junk food. I however just feel so dumpy in January. I hate how its so cold outside and I can not even stand to get all bundled up just to go to the store. However now that it is getting to be beautiful outside I love it and I feel so much better. Now Ken and I have been actually exercising together with the kids by going for walks outside and we also exercise in the basement when the kids go to bed. It is nice because Ken has it set up down there like a little gym with the treadmill and weight lifting and a few other things. We have a radio as well as a tv that we can watch while we work out. I was looking online today for some of the best fat burning exercises so that maybe we can work that into our nightly routine. It seems like if we miss a night I feel so down and unmotivated. It also makes it better since we are doing it together and we can encourage one another if one of us feels like stopping. We really did not start exercising at the same time as everyone else did but I think the weather makes a huge difference on how we feel.
