Christmas Shopping

Yep that's right I said Christmas shopping. That is one thing that Ken and I have already been working on. We used to wait till the last minute but we soon realized that we absolutely hated the rush and that other people were always super mean. I also do not like waiting in line for hours to purchase one gift. It also is the time when the department stores throw poor new employees out on the registers that have not had much training and expect them to know everything while the customers are complaining. We usually wait till the day after Thanksgiving but this year we decided to start even earlier. We have some gifts for the kids. I always try not to buy so many toys but to get learning toys or crafts. Also they get clothing in which they are really never that excited about. It is just so nice to get it finished and out of the way. It just seems that after Thanksgiving the days just fly by till Christmas. I know it has something to do with Ken being in school and the end of the semester being near as well at the final tests but it still goes so fast. I would rather sit back and enjoy my days watching all the other people rushing to get last minute gifts.
