2X Doctor

Well yesterday Aidan had his doctors appointment. He had to go back because he was still not fully up to his birth weight and the doctor wanted to make sure that he was gaining weight and not loosing. It just so happened that Madison woke up that day with a fever. I never took her temperature but I knew that she was really warm. When we got to the doctor Aidan was checked and he was a big 8 pounds already. I could not believe how fast he was growing. The nurse then started to talk to Maddie and I told her that she woke up with a fever and she wanted to take her temp. When she did Maddie had a temp of 103.5. I knew she was warm but I did not know it was that high. The doctor insisted on checking her ears and throat. He also weighed her and she weighed in at 30 pounds and 6 ounces. I was amazed because last time she was 36 pounds so I guess she lost some weight. She ended up not having an ear ache and her throat culture came back negative. He said it was viral so she would just need to get rid of it on her own, and to give her some Motrin. Hopefully soon it will be gone. Aidan however does not have to return till his two month check up.
